蓮池潭

When me and my friend went on a little trip to the South of Taiwan together we ended up with a few hours in Kaohsiung (高雄) and since our bus stopped at the HSR station Zuoying we searched for something close by and found the so-called Lotus Pond (蓮池潭). There at the pond are the Spring and Autumn Pavilions (春秋閣) and Dragon and Tiger Pagodas (龍虎塔). At the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas you can go up the two towers as well as at the Spring and Autumn Pavilions I think.
It was really beautiful there and I had a great time exploring the area!

How to get there:

It’s fairly close to the HSR Zuoying station so you can walk there.

Als eine Freundin und ich einen kleinen Kurztrip in den Süden Taiwans gemacht haben, hatten wir einige Stunden Aufenthalt in Kaohsiung (高雄). Da unser Bus an der HSR Station Zuoying angehalten hat, haben wir etwas gesucht, dass wir uns dort in der Nähe anschauen konnten. Deshalb haben wir den Lotus Pond (蓮池潭) gefunden. An dem See gibt es die Frühlings- und Herbstpavilions (春秋閣) und die Drachen- und Tigerpagoden (龍虎塔). Bei den Drachen- und den Tigerpagoden kann man in den obersten Stock gehen, ich glaube auch bei den Frühlings- und Herbstpavilions, aber da bin ich mir nicht sicher.
Es war sehr schön dort und mir hat es viel Spaß gemacht, die Gegend zu erkunden!
